Wake up call smoothie
 Serves 2-3

 Ingredients

1/2 Green Apple
1/2 Lime
1 tsp fresh Ginger
1/2 small Cucumber
1/4 Pear
1/2 cup Paw Paw
1 1/2 cups Coconut Water
1 kale leaf
1/2 cup Baby Spinach leaves
Coconut nectar or raw Honey to taste

 

Method

  1. Put the ingredients into the Vitamix Wet Blade Container in the order listed.
  2. Secure lid and select Variable Speed 1.
  3. Turn on the machine and quickly increase speed to Variable Speed 10, then to High. 
  4. Using the tamper if necessary, blend for one minute or until smooth.

 

Tips
“Add one teaspoon of chia, hemp or flax seed oil for a blast of omega 3, calcium and protein, making an even silkier version of this smoothie. Kale has more antioxidants than any other veggie and is a good source of iron and folate. The paw paw is a great digestive and is full of vitamin A for healthy skin and immune system.
